The GLBTQ Leadership Council is committed to bettering the quality of life for all students at Boston College who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning. As a semi-independent governing body, the GLBTQ Leadership Council works to ensure that the voices, concerns, and interests of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community are heard throughout other organizations at Boston College, as well as through the community at large. Finally, the GLBTQ Leadership Council shall act as a resource for all clubs and organizations focused on the GLBTQ community (these include, but are not limited to the Lambda of Boston College and Allies) and shall encourage and promote these groups in any way possible. The GLBTQ Leadership Council strives to do all of these things in the constant struggle to gain equality, acceptance, and understanding for all GLBTQ students politically, academically, and socially at Boston College and in the world.
